Why I Dont Like Hacks
Hacks and Manipulating Systems? BIG NO!
- You’re bound for short term success
- Plus growth hacks and manipulating systems, tactics… – anyone can copy and steal overnight.
- But when you build something for long term sustainable growth, you can reach more people, you can help more people and you create a bigger more monumental impact.
Yes. You can build a successful business that is not based on hacks. We did and so can you.
Agree? Disagree? Let me know why in the comments below.

Hey guys, it’s Allen.
In this video I’m gonna share with you why I really just don’t like hacks and I’ll just dive right into it.
I got on a phone call with somebody who wanted me to chat with me to see, “Hey, what are you doing in your business, what’s working? Let’s share ideas and bounce ideas off of one another.”
Great, let’s do it.
I get on the call and the first thing that he says is, “So what’s your secret, what’s your hack, what’s going on? How did you grow this business so quickly? Tell me what it is.”
And I told him the whole backstory and how we got started and how we got to where we are today in just under a year’s time.
And he goes, “Alright, so what’s the inflection point? Like where did you really see the scales tip and everything start? What was that inflection point?”
I said, “Well, there really wasn’t an inflection point. We just had this slow and steady growth and now we’re building.”
And he just didn’t get it. He just didn’t understand that you can build a business that is not based on hacks, or strategies or tactics that really don’t last long. And he was baffled by this.
At the end of the call he’s like, “Oh so you actually like have a ‘real’ business.”
And that’s exactly what he said: “Oh yeah you actually have, like, a real business.”
I said yes. Like I don’t – if I’m going to invest my time and energy and resources into something, I want it to last the test of time. I don’t want to put all my eggs into one basket and hope that this pays off.
Now are there companies and big companies that are built on growth hacks and manipulating systems and strategies and tactics – yes, absolutely. But if you’re just focusing all of your time and energy on that, you’re bound for short-term success and not long-term growth.
And that’s what I believe creates a bigger, more monumental impact, is when you build something for long-term sustainable growth. You can reach more people, you can help more people, and it gives you something to wake up to every morning.
If you’re just waking up every morning like, “I gotta wake up because there’s only a certain amount of time that this is going to be available for and I need to get after it”. Well, when that time’s here and gone, what do you have to wake up for?
So, let me know what you think in the comments below and share this video with someone you think would benefit.
Thanks guys! I’m Allen. Thanks for watching.
