– In this video, I’m going to share with you how to create a product experience that will bring their customers back again and again, and make them raving fans of your brand and your business.
So, one thing that happens after an exchange is made, someone pays you money, and you provide a product. What happens after that is really important to elevate the product experience or the customer experience, that really gets them bought in. They already know that they want to conduct business with you, they just gave you money. But how do you make them lifelong fans? And raving fans that they’ll go out and then amplify that, “hey so and so “friend and family member, you need “to do business with this person, “because it was so over the top.” So one piece that happens is after, the exchange is made, that is when the biggest buyer’s remorse sets in. So if you think about it, I just paid you money online, through your website, but now I don’t have anything to show for it, until the product arrives. So one thing that you can do, is reduce buyer’s remorse by having an autoresponder sequence, or follow-up sequence, or text messages. Some communication channel, with your customer can use Facebook Messenger as well, is to reassure them that they made a right decision. Provide customer stories of people just like them, who have also made this purchase, and made a quality decision. Put them into a Facebook Group where they can interact with other people, just like them. And also, provide value and content on what they should be expecting after the product arrives.
Maybe it’s, here’s what to expect after the product arrives or here’s how you can get the most out of the product after it shows up on your doorstep. So then the product arrives, another way that you can elevate the customer experience and make it special for them, is by customizing some packing tape. And using the box, or the packaging, that the product sent in, and just differentiate that from all the other brown boxes that are showing up on their doorstep, on a daily basis. And we actually looked into custom cardboard boxes, creating and like designing them. And it turned out to be really expensive. But one that we did, is we stole this from Amazon, is by customizing the packaging tape. And a roll of tape is actually pretty cheap. So, you can use the same brown boxes but now you have different tape on there and it looks a little bit different. And you can brand it in a way that’s unique to your brand. So when someone receives your product, they know it’s special, and they haven’t even opened it up yet. After that what you can do is, like I said, provide value on ways to use the product through autoresponder series, through follow-up messages, through other content. Put them into a Facebook Group where they can connect. And really continue that dialogue with the customer, providing value.
Don’t forget that it’s so much easier to sell to an existing customer, than it is to go out and acquire a new one. You’re going to spend way more money acquiring a new customer, than it is to, you know, just make the customer that you have that you just got, extremely happy so that they’ll come back and buy again, and again.
