– Hey guys! I’m here with little Gracelynne, she’s saying a couple words. Right? Saying a couple words? Hanging out outside with dad? Yeah. So, just sitting out here looking at the new boat, called “Amazing Grace”, and having Gracelynne in my arms really just made me think about how far…
Thanks for the likes, Mike. Thank you, thank you. I’ll show you her some more. Hopefully, the baby’s getting the hearts and not the boat. Thanks.
But, I wanted to just recap the past couple of years. It’s been a crazy freaking ride, a crazy journey. Just a few short years ago, I was sitting in my office down and out and just completely miserable.
I remember going into my uncle’s office and bawling my eyes out because Lauren had just walked out because I wasn’t making any money and that I couldn’t quote unquote “get my shit together”. And not for the lack of not trying, it’s just that I couldn’t get traction on what I wanted to do.
I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur, I knew I wanted to keep elevating myself, but I was just focusing on the wrong stuff, or I’d get a little bit of traction and then fail a little bit, and then not…
Tacos are everything in life? Hopefully, you’re talking about Taco Outriggers. But, yeah. Thanks, Michael. Appreciate that. Yes we do.
We do need to talk. But, I knew that I was determined to do something great. And I knew that I was determined to live a life of abundance. So I just worked my freaking ass off to make it happen.
And, has it been all sunshine and rainbows since that day in my office? Absolutely not. There’s been challenges, there’s been several failures, there’s been times where I thought, “Why should I keep doing this? What the hell am I doing all of this for?” And I just stuck to it. And I hope that I can inspire some of you to keep pushing.
Keep pushing for it and constantly be improving and constantly believing in yourself that if you do hustle, if you do put the work in and if you do the work, abundance will come. And once you have abundance, more abundance will come. And once you have some more of that, more of it will come.
And I remembered yesterday, I was like, “Oh, I was standing on a yacht a couple days ago or a couple..” I think it was last year. Talking about the power of normalization and how I can experience more of that.
I like to think that that has something to do with “Amazing Grace” behind me here and the memories that I’ll be able to create on her and the good times that will be had on the boat. But, really the one key thing to all of it… Now it’s not skill, I don’t really have that much skill.
I’m good at connecting dots. I’m good at seeing blind spots and good at managing, but I’m not good at a lot of things. And I’m not skillful at a lot of things, but the one thing that I have that you can all cultivate, it’s a muscle, is an abundance mindset. A growth mindset.
The fact that if you do have experienced failure, that you can achieve more. That you can do more. That you can have more even though right now, in this moment, this blip in time, it may not be working out for you but you can use it as a learning experience to do better, to be better, to have more, to experience more. And as long as you are constantly pushing yourself further, pushing yourself, and investing in yourself, doesn’t matter what you’re good at.
You’ll make something happen. So, I hope you guys cultivate a growth mindset and that you don’t get stagnant in where you’re at, and that you’re constantly pushing yourself further and harder and that you’re constantly learning from your wins and your failures and that you enjoy the hell out of life and live an abundant life, because that’s what it’s all about. Right, Gracelynne? Right, little girl? Gracelynne says, “Thumbs up for abundance.”
Thanks, guys. Bye.
